Measuring five by fifteen feet, this modern steel conference table fits right into its contemporary glass, concrete and steel surroundings. Custom built for PUBG, a Madison, WI based gaming company, Weld House used hints of one of its designs sold to HONDA years prior with significant changes to accommodate its long length. Starting with our masterful industrial CAD (computer-aided design) designer, Bryan Humbertson, Phoenix Arizona based Weld House designed, built and installed this conference table in a truly turn-key transaction.
The base of this conference table is a laser cut half-inch thick carbon steel. The shape of the welded assembly is very structural and carries a lot of weight but yet leaves the maximum amount of legroom for those seated around the table. Final finish is deburring all sharp edges and applying a matte, clear powder coat finish.
Patch-panels of reclaimed automotive sheet metal in shades of red make up the visually impactful table top. This is what separates Weld House from the competition and what also makes this conference table truly one of a kind. The average age of the metal used on the table top is over fifty years. Approximately forty hours of labor went into seaming together the tabletop alone in order to get it ready for eight coats of House of Kolor automotive clear coat in our “paint” department. This metal table top is very durable and sustainable for years to come. If the client ever wants to have the top polished, waxed or even new clear coat applied twenty years from now, this table top can stay looking new indefinitely with proper care

Accompanying the conference table for PUBG was a waterfall edge reception desk. The blue patina and high gloss finish add an artistic element and a pop of color to their lobby.
